Shortly after the 1-1 draw against Roma at the Stadio Giueseppe Meazza, Inter’s Brazilian international central defender, Joao Miranda stopped by Premium Sport to give his opinions of the game, the result and Inter’s performance as a whole.

Miranda began by lamenting the team’s start to the match saying that “unfortunately we did not play as well in the first half as we managed to do in the second half. We managed to get a draw thanks to our good performance in the second half. We had a ton of good occasions but we only managed to score once.

“We are currently in a tough situation, but that is something that happens to every team during a season. The important thing is that we have to get back on the winning track, because the championship does not wait for us. We have to start winning again” Miranda continued.

The former Atletico Madrid defender was asked about his impression of new signing Lisandro Lopez: “He seems to be a good player with a great personality, I am certain that he will be able to give us a helping hand.”

In conclusion Miranda was asked about the performance of Roma’s goalkeeper, fellow Brazil international Alisson: “He is a great keeper, but this was not a surprise for me, I know him and I know that he will do good both for Roma and for the Brazilian national team.”
