Inter are not the only club after Argentinian attacker Lautaro Martinez, as Juventus and AC Milan are also lurking in the background aside from other big clubs like Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid as well as clubs from the English Premier League.
But Inter is the team that seems to have come the furthest in negotiations with Martinez club, Racing. In fact, last Tuesday there was a meeting at Inter headquarters at Corso Vittorio Emanuele in central Milano involving negotiators from the two clubs.
The attacker, born in 1997, should leave during this summer’s transfer window and is under a lot of influence from Diego Milito and Javier Zanetti, convincing him that he will get an important role no matter what team he ends up with.
FCInter1908 managed to get an exclusive interview with Racing President Victor Blanco who had the following to say: “I can confirm that the interest from Inter is real. But at the moment, nothing concrete is decided upon. We have not resolved anything. Surely in the following weeks we will see if the relationship with Inter goes any further, there could be some news then.”
