According to a report by Italian media outlet FcInterNews, Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich and English Premier League club Chelsea are now also on the list of prestigious clubs monitoring the future of Inter striker and captain, Mauro Icardi with the other teams on that list being Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
All of those giant clubs are of course have Icardi in their sights for when the transfer window reopens in the summer. In order to prevent any move during the summer, Inter have tried to tie the Argentinian even harder to the club by offering a new contract worth €7.5 million net per season.
However, according to the report, it is not that easy as the counterpart, in this case Icardi’s entourage, is demanding at least €10 million plus bonuses net per season in order for him to put pen to paper. At the end of February, or at the very latest in the beginning of March, negotiations with the player’s agent, Wanda Nara, should start in order to find a solution.
money is worth the icardi.
Yes make it min 150M for him
Icardi needs to be honest and let the club know whether he wants to stay or not- If he wants to stay, fantastic, lets find a suitable compromise and get the contract sorted- but if he wants to go, then we should thank him for his years of service and sell him to the highest bidder for €100 million plus! At least that would be a big help with FFP, and both parties can move on with no hard feelings- just be honest with the club and the fans!!
100 mil is peanuts in today’s market… a no 9 like him is rare. I would only sell him for 200mil minimum!
Depends on whether or not we can get rid of the release clause! €100 million might have to do…
Icardi is no Neymar and to date only Neymar has crossed the 200mn mark…I think something in the context of 150-180mn would be a good price for Icardi…although of course I wouldn’t complain if we did end up getting 200mn for him
Would you give him 10m / season just to remove the release clause or set it for 200m?
wow….10 mil……….idk…i never like him although he always proofed me wrong..
It’s easy to sell your start player. Much harder to find a suitable replacement for him. Inter have to be careful here. We should really do everything in our power to keep Icardi and Skriniar.
Just sell him to the highest bidder, Barcelona, Real, Bayern, Chelsea and Man. United plus City have loads of cash.
we can’t sell him to the highest bidder since he already has a release clause of 110m ( not sure about the exact figure). and in present inflated market 110m is not enough to buy a good striker. but Wanda is asking too much. don’t think we can afford 10m + bonuses on a single player.
