Inter will take no risks, that is a good way to sum up the Inter approach to tomorrow’s game against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the city’s Marassi district. Unless it is 100% sure that major injuries can be avoided, Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic will not be called up for the game. Today will be a decisive day for both of them, who trained separately yesterday.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport “Spalletti is ready to, for the third consecutive time, play Eder should Icardi not be 100%. If Perisic, for the first time this year, should miss the game, Spalletti has a couple of options. There is the 4-2-3-1 with Rafinha as a midfielder. Candreva would return to the right and Karamoh would take Perisic’s place at the left in front of the defense with Gagliardini-Vecino-Valero as midfielders.”
The Gazzett reports further that “Then there is the 4-3-1-2 option that we could see against Bologna where Candreva could play as trequartista instead of Rafinha with Karamoh alongside Eder with Valero in the middle and Gagliardini and Vecino on the flanks. In the case of Joao Miranda, time will tell, if he cannot play there is a competition between Ranocchia and Lisandro Lopez about the second center back position alongsinde Milan Skriniar.”
Inter’s starting eleven according to Gazzetta dello Sport:
Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Cancelo, Skriniar, Ranocchia, D’Ambrosio; Gagliardini, Vecino; Candreva, Rafinha, Karamoh; Eder.
wb Rano Karno, you’ll be protagonist
dont play borja “old” valero at 1st time
wait to epic brozo and the mask of Kara”gol”moy
Amala!!!!
He is NOT going to start.
His knee still swells a little and the idea is to have him ready to start by the derby , Spalletti already clearly stated that twice , so I have no idea why this article even exists and why fans still fight the simple , logical fact that he needs to be recovered GRADUALLY.
4-3-1-2
Handanovic
Cancelo-Skriniar-Ranocchia-Dalbert
Vecino-Gagliardini-Brozovic
Rafinha
Eder-Karamoh
Subs – Probably Valero, Candreva, Dambrosio
put dalbert to play left winger.
Impossible but would be nice tho 😀
I remember when I was kid playing football wining eleven game on playstation, I used to put roberto carlos as left winger to run toward the goal 😀
Playing Perisic so deep made no sense and doing the same with Candreva would be equally ridiculous… could go with Gagliardini-Borja-Vecino in the center but that would mean would don’t have a proper sub to bring on for Rafinha (assuming he starts) when he gets tired in the second half…accordingly would prefer if we played 4-2-3-1 in line with GdS…actually agree with the line-up as well although would keep Karamoh on the right and move Candreva to the left since he doesn’t link well with Cancelo while on the other hand he does seem to complement D’Ambrosio who will be playing on the left
its a treason to not start karamoh , hopefully he starts again, this player is just fearless, the san siro doesn’t scare him a bit and he is 19 only, how is this even possible, I was shitting myself taking a penalty when I was in varsity team playing other schools
while Dalbert seemed always scared to move forward
I’d actually prefer not to see Candreva starting after seeing what a great Job Karamoh did the last game. I’d go with Eder Pinamonti and Karamoh to start then we’d have Candreva to come on as a sub. Rafinha starts behind the strikers followed by Vecino and Gaglia.
Since we started Karamoh last game we should give a chance to Dalbert and let him play on the left. Rano and Skriniar. Cancelo on the right.
Agree. give a chance to Dalbert and Pinamonti
I see your point, but I think, that after being surpassed in every aspect of his game by a teenager, Candreva will want to show himself from his best side. At least I hope so. Eder has the goals at the moments and moves a lot making room for others. Think Spaletti got this one right.
And here I thought the left and right back covered most of the flanks in a 4-3-1-2…
no wingers ??? u can’t be seriously serious
