A bitter analysis from Inter coach Luciano Spalletti when speaking to Inter TV after the tough loss against Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district.
Spalletti began by stating that “We have to continue to work on everything and in particular the small things that gives you the advantage. We have to find the self-esteem that we had and that we apparently have lost. Genoa today closed every effort from us trying to construct a good attack, but we had 2 or 3 chances. Then we had a couple of negative episodes when we were punished. Let’s say that what we did in the second half we should have made in the first half.”
How much does what happened at the first goal affect the rest of the game?
“It always affect your game when you concede a goal like this, especially when you concede it as close to the whistle of the first half as we did. There is still a lot of time to change the situation but of course we have to make a tactical move.”
What kind of solutions can be the result of this defeat?
“I do not think there are any solutions based on the fact that we did not do terribly wrong. You look ahead and do that with the conviction that this is the way to approach each game based on what we are capable of as a team.”
I don’t want another change of coach but please,,,,spalletti is not the right man to manage inter!!,,,his style dosnt suit inter milan
Spalletti is a Roma man and always will,,,,get the f-ck out of inter you Roma idiot you wanted Borja, vaccino and Dalbert well you got what you wanted idiot!! Now spalletti complaining about these players lol,,,why buy these crap players we already knew these players are shit so why did you buy them for inter,,,?? No big European club would sign theses shit players lol.,lol,,could u imagine Borja old slow man Valero at Real Madrid or Chelsea or Munich ? No way,,,not even at Napoli or Roma!! Cause he is a spal or lecce player same as vaccino and Gagliardini!! Whilst we have 2 really good fullbacks in Cancelo and Dalbert but they must play consistently every week!! Not dumbo and rennochia omg,,,ffs!! And hopeless santon noooooo way he is so crap,,,so why play these f-ck wits??
I fear that fans has lost hope in Spalletti. Hope not.
Today: bye bye Champions league, and after playing 6 games: bye bye European league, and in the end of the season: bye bye Icardi, cancelo, rafinha, skriniar,….hellooo FFP
Mister you had a good run but so did Manchini or Pioli so do us a favor and leave before we end up in the 9th place again
if he wants to save his job, he has to start Rafinha & Dalbert ahead of Valero & Dambo
Couldn’t agree more- but I don’t think he will! Karamoh will probably be back on the bench next week also…
I was thinking the same
Mario Balotelli could be on his way out of Nice with Italian giants Inter and AC Milan ready to battle it out for the ex-Liverpool striker after recent racial abuse has left Balotteli fuming at the French
Football Association. The Nice striker, who was shown a yellow card for complaining to the referee about racist chants during Nice’s 3-2 defeat at Dijon, will reportedly (via The Sun) be given an escape route out of the French league by both of his former clubs AC Milan and Inter Milan.
I haven’t seen him play but if he’s like in his 50% right now I’d take him right away.
A midfield with Vecino, Gaglia and Borja was already a failure when we had in-form Perisic and Icardi. Starting them in the match without the later two was a loss waiting to happen but I hope Spalletti has realise this and never do it again. FORZA INTER.
“we did not do terribly wrong”
True Mister. We conceded own goal, let grandpa Pandev terrorize our back line, made a joke of ourselves by passing to opposition rather than starting counter attacks and above all…There were no tactics.. I repeat no tactics or anything.
Either Spalleti mind dried of ideas or the zero IQ players no longer understands him.
or the zero IQ players no longer understands him. — but you start understanding roma directors …
You mean ex roma directors Spalleti and Sabatini?
ex roma directors Spalleti and Sabatini ?!?!
—- I don’t recall their names, but they are still in charge in roma 😉 and spalle is unfortunatelly for some time in charge at inter.
Monchi is their sporting director and totti is part of management. Beside both I dont know any other. Yes there are that American owner of them Pallota.
Spalletti Out !
Didn’t do too bad?!?!!? Spaletti may have to go- many managers at Inter have gone for a lot less than 1 win in 10! The match against Genoa was one of the worst I have ever watched! We started the game with 11 right footed players, giving us no Balance whatsoever, and when we were already 2-0 down, Spaletti may have made some substitutions, but changed absolutely nothing tactically!! We should have brought Dalbert on rather than Brozovic, switching to a back 3, and tried to match Genoa, who were all over us! And the worst part of it all was that Brozovic was put on the pitch at all!!! The man has clearly run out of ideas, and just stands there looking lost!!!!
hahahahahahaaaa, ….
