It looks as if Inter’s new objective is Tottenham’s Argentinian winger Erik Lamela, at least according to Turin newspaper Tuttosport.

Tuttosport claims that Lamela is the answer toInter’s need to reinforce the wings.

“The Argentinian, 26, had numbers like a true attacker during his time at Roma – 19 goals in 62 games. Numbers that Candreva at the moment only can dream about (still at zero goals in the league). Inter has already contacted the entourage of Lamela, who is currently under contract with Tottenham until 2020, and could sign him on a loan basis with an obligatory redemption.”

This deal is still at a very early stage and although Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has an excellent relationship with Tottenham, the London club is historically known for being “expensive” and hard to finalise deals with. The alternative, should this deal go south, is Bernard of Shakhtar Donetsk and Simone Verdi of Bologna. At the same time it looks like Eder is going to leave the club.
