Tonight marks the start of the final push of the 2017/2018 season when Inter faces Napoli at Giuseppe Meazza. An extremely important game for both teams, Inter has to keep up with Roma and Lazio for the UCL spot and Napoli has to react to Juventus recent form. But this will be a game of many faces as Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport explains:

“Tonight we will probably see around 60 000 spectators, 4000 of them being Napoli supporters on the third ring of Giuseppe Meazza. In order to remember and honour Gian Marco Moratti (brother of former Inter President Massimo Moratti) and Fiorentina Captain Davide Astori, there will be a minute of silence and the players will play the game wearing mourning armbands. Some choreography will take place and former Inter player and treble legend Maicon will be awarded Inter Forever. Yesterday special jerseys celebrating Inter’s 110th year as a club were also sold”.

So the night will be characterized by some low key respectful festivities for Maicon and the 110th year celebration together with the mourning of brother Moratti and Davide Astori.
