Inter’s Italian right winger Antonio Candreva stopped in the mixed zone at the San Siro to speak with the gathering reporters after the goalless draw in the derby della Madonnina at a packed Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

FcInterNews were present and report Candreva’s statements where he began by stating that: “I do not want to talk about a point earned, especially after our performance and all the chances that we had. Instead it is a bit of bitterness I feel, for having lost two points and not making the distance down to Lazio any greater.”

Candreva was asked about Icardi missing two open goals to which he replied: “He has won tons of games for us, these things happen and for him it is not often. We just have to continue on this path, we want the Champions League and already on Sunday we get another chance in another difficult game. We have to keep on this path we have chosen and we have to win as many of the games remaingin in order to reach that objective that is still more than possible to reach.”
