Marcelo Brozovic: “The Result Came From Things We Could Not Affect On The Pitch”

The so important game against Juventus at the Stadio San Siro ended in a tough 2-3 loss after Inter dropped a 2-1 lead during the final minutes of the game. A lead that would have been a heroic victory should they have made it to the end.

This because of the very doubtful sending off of Matias Vecino in the first half that forced Inter to play with ten men for most of the match, followed by the almost impossible job of keeping Juventus player Pjanic on the pitch.

Inter midfielder, the Croat Marcelo Brozovic expressed his views of tonight’s game against Juventus on social media. Like a lot, if not all, of the Inter fans there was a subtle implication of why the game ended like it did. On his Instagram account the following could be read after the Derby d’Italia: “We gave our soul and we gave our heart tonight. The result comes from things we could not affect on the pitch! Always Forza Inter.”
