As previously reported, earlier today the agent of Davide Zappacosta, Matias Vecino and Alessandro Florenzi, Alessandro Lucci, met with Inter’s Directors which led to reports coming from Italy suggesting that Inter were interested in Chelsea’s Italian international fullback.

However, Lucci declined this when leaving the meeting stating that there is nothing with Inter regarding Zappacosta. Now FcInterNews report that the players being discussed were Matias Vecino’s future at the club as well as Roma’s Italian international Alessandro Florenzi.

The former Crotone player’s current deal with the Giallorossi expires in June 2019 and he prefers renewing his contract to stay at the club rather than leaving. However, according to the report, the attitude of Roma Sporting Director Monchi towards Florenzi is unknown and his willingness to keep Florenzi remains shrouded in a cloud of doubt.

Inter continue to monitor the situation without any stress and are prepared to pounce should the contract negotiations between the parties hit a stumbling block.
