According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Inter management hopes to complete the signing of Malcom before the weekend, something that would allow the Brazilian player to team up with the rest of the squad when pre-season training starts on Monday.

However, at present this seems to be an impossible mission because the distance between Inter’s offer and Bordeaux’s request is too far even though Inter management at the headquarters are quietly optimistic. This is because in the long run there should be a deal since the player himself already has said yes to a move to Milan, something that would give him a 5-year contract with more than €2 million per season in salary.

At the moment, the gap between the two clubs consists of Inter wanting an €8 million loan with the right to a redemption set at €32 million. The French side, who value the player at €40 million, want an outright sale or at least a loan with an obligatory redemption. So it seems unlikely that the situation will be resolved before this weekend,

Moreover, Inter needs to move on one of the four current wingers they have with Antonio Candreva or Yann Karamoh the media’s favourite to move. There is  some interest for Karamoh, but Inter does not want to sell the player outright. Eder is also being tipped to leave due to the amount of competition for places but the player himself has said to Premium Sport that he wants to take his chance in the club.
