Chilean international Arturo Vidal has chosen to sign for Inter while the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich. Now the chances of the player coming to Milan stand at 99 percent, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Some details are still missing, however. Before Vidal can sign he must sort out a few details with Bayern, which could lengthen the wait for an official announcement.

The Chilean is currently in the final year of his contract with Bayern, which makes a loan deal with the right of redemption impossible. Vidal must therefore to extend his contract with the German club by at least one more year, before he can join Inter with the formula the Nerazzurri wish to use. However this is not expected to represent a problem.

That said, some time is needed in order to resolve this technical issue and then the final phase will be reached. Like Inter, Bayern want to close the deal as soon as possible and after being far away from each other initially an agreement was reached in the region of €20 million. Vidal is expected to cut his salary by €2.5 million, dropping from €7 million to €4.5 million.
