For the first time in many years, Inter’s attack is no longer only dependent on Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi when it comes to scoring goals.

This is thanks to Inter’s summer transfer window that has given Inter coach Luciano Spalletti many alternatives for how he wants to form the attack, from Lautaro to Politano, from Nainggolan to probably Keita Baldé. So Spalletti has more options now than compared to last season.

“Spalletti is currently testing the Icardi-Martinez formation, but is still looking for other options” – Milano based newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport  reports – “because Inter also has Croatian World Cup player Ivan Perisic in their toolbox and the Tuscan coach has his ideas clear: ‘We could try to play with a three-man defense with two guys behind Mauro Icardi. Perisic will be our Ronaldo but has to improve his play in the central of the attacking zone.’ Finally, keep an eye on Karamoh who has improved a lot from last season.”
