Croatian Agent Naletilic: “Modric Likes The Idea Of Being Number 1 At Inter”

In an interview with Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, prominent Croatian agent Marko Naletilic had his say about the rumors of Croatian international midfielder Luka Modric leaving Real Madrid for Inter.

According to the agent, “the fact that Inter went for Modric and that Modric himself actually has taken the deal under consideration proves how much the Cristiano Ronaldo move to Juventus is affecting Italian football. From what I know, Luka does not only like the idea of going to Inter, he likes the idea of being their number one and being one of the main characters in Serie A.”

In conclusion Naletilic was asked if he thinks the transfer from the Champions League winners to the Nerazzurri can actually materialize, to which he replied: “We will see, my feeling is that sooner or later we will see Luka Modric play in Italy. He grew up watching the Serie A like many Croatians in his age.”
