In today’s paper edition of the newspaper Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Borja Valero could take Radja Nainggolan’s place in the starting line-up tonight when the Nerazzurri host Fiorentina at the San Siro.

After decisive performances during the last minutes in the games against Tottenham and Sampdoria, the Spaniard has entered a battle with Nainggolan of who gets to start in tonight’s game against Fiorentina according to the Gazzetta who report that “Spalletti’s continuing praise of the Spaniard the last couple of days is a strong sign that there is a renewed confidence in Valero.

“Compared to the game against Sampdoria, both Stefan de Vrij and Ivan Perisic will get the nod although Perisic received a blow in the Sampdoria game. In midfield it is confirmed that Matias Vecino is back but on the right wing a struggle between Antonio Candreva, Matteo Politano and Keita Baldé where Candreva is in pole-position right now”

Inter’s probable line-up according to the Gazzetta:

INTER (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Candreva, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
