Joao Mario is hopeful that Inter’s quality will make all the difference in this afternoon’s match in Bergamo against Atalanta.

“We know everything about this game: it is a difficult field especially with the rain but we must face the game with the right attitude and hope that our quality makes the difference. We must work hard, the team is strong and has so much quality,” the 25-year-old explained in an interview with Inter TV prior to kick-off.

The Portuguese midfielder was then asked about not making the starting eleven despite scoring a goal and getting three assists last time out against Genoa.

“The coach decides who plays, we must all be ready, the whistles turned into applause, I am very satisfied, I thank the fans, but now I want to continue like this, I know football and I know I have to work hard to continue to deserve the applause”.
