Inter are facing competition from Borussia Dortmund for RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, according to a leading German broadcaster.

As per a report from Sport 1, Dortmund have identified the Hungarian national team shot-stopper as a transfer target ahead of this summer.

Gulacsi was linked with Inter earlier this week as a potential replacement to Samir Handanovic, whose contract expires at the end of next season.

The Nerazzurri were said to have made a huge contract offer worth €10 million annually to the goalkeeper, for whom RB Leipzig would want €13 million.

Gulacsi, who once played for Liverpool, is contracted to RB Leipzig until the end of the 2022-23 season.

He has been solid for Julian Nagelsmann’s side this season, having kept 15 clean sheets in 32 appearances across all competitions.

Gulacsi joined RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2015 and played the full 90 minutes last Tuesday as the Bundesliga outfit lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
