Inter’s chief financial officer Tim Williams will finalise his departure from the club today, according to a report in the Italian media.

As per Il Sole 24 Ore’s print edition, it has been known for some time that Williams would be leaving his post at Inter and the day has come for him to bid farewell to the Nerazzurri.

Williams wished to return to his native England and he is to join Tifosy as a partner, the sports advisory firm who are advising BC Partners in their talks with Suning over buying Inter.

It seems Williams will not be involved in those negotiations though, with the report stating he will be working in the English market with matters related to the Premier League.

BC Partners have reportedly made an offer to buy Inter worth €800 million plus bonuses and a report earlier on today has hinted that there could be developments this week.

Tifosy were co-founded by former Juventus and Italy striker Gianluca Vialli and are being run by banker Fausto Zanetton.
