Stefano Sensi has completely recovered from his latest injury problem, according to an Italian media report today.
As per Tuttosport’s print edition, the central midfielder has gotten over the muscle injury picked up just before last month’s Milan derby.
Sensi trained yesterday with his teammates for the second consecutive day and in all likelihood, he should be named among the substitutes for Inter in their Serie A match away to Parma tomorrow night.
Due to a series of injuries, Sensi has barely featured for Inter this season, having been limited to just 443 minutes on the park.
His time on the pitch has been spread across 15 appearances, one of which has been a start, and the 25-year-old has failed to make any goal contributions whatsoever.
Sensi’s recovery from injury means Antonio Conte has a full squad available again, a welcome piece of good news as Inter begin their title run-in.
The Nerazzurri boss is not expected to rest any of his players at risk of suspension against Parma, but Alexis Sanchez could be preferred to Lautaro Martinez in attack at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
