Inter are thinking about selling midfielder Arturo Vidal at the end of the season, according to a Spanish media report.

Vidal will undergo knee surgery tomorrow and could be out of action for up to a month, as per a report from Sky Sport Italia today.

TodoFichajes.com report that Inter are coming round to the idea of offloading the 33-year-old due to Vidal’s hefty annual salary of €6 million.

Flamengo have shown a keen interest in adding the Chilean international to their ranks and Vidal would also seemingly like to play for the reigning Brazilian champions, as stated by his former Bayern Munich teammate Rafinha earlier this week.

Christian Eriksen has turned things around for himself at Inter and with the Nerazzurri are looking to sign at least two top-level midfielders, it would appear that Vidal’s days at the club are numbered.

Vidal has made 30 appearances across all competitions under Antonio Conte this season, during which time he has scored two goals and provided two assists.
