Inter could face competition from AC Milan for Udinese goalkeeper Juan Musso, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Rossoneri were struggling to make progress in their contract talks with Gianluigi Donnrumma, whose current deal expires in 98 days’ time.
AC Milan are having to look around to source eventual replacements and have set their sights on Atalanta’s Pierluigi Gollini and Lille’s Mike Maignan.
They are particularly keen on Musso though, who is also subject to long-standing interest from Inter.
A report yesterday claimed Roma were moving into pole position to sign the 26-year-old goalkeeper, having prepared a part-exchange offer to submit to Udinese’s technical director Pierpaolo Marino.
Inter have reportedly identified Musso as their number one transfer target in goal, but the Nerazzurri were also linked with a move for Sampdoria’s Emil Audero earlier this week.
Musso insisted in an interview on Monday that he hadn’t had contact with any clubs over a summer move.
