Inter are interested in bringing Jorginho back to Serie A, according to the midfielder’s agent.

Jorginho joined Chelsea from Napoli in 2018 and has scored seven goals for the Premier League side in all competitions this season.

Despite his promising form under the Blues’ new boss Thomas Tuchel, it seems the 29-year-old has had enough of life away from Italy.

“He wants to come back to Italy, but he’ll cost €50 million,” Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss today.

“Jorginho still has two years left on his deal at Chelsea and I think Roman Abramovich will offer him an extension before long.

“Juventus? Fabio Paratici knows football well, but Jorginho doesn’t have interest just from the Bianconeri.

“Inter and AC Milan are interested too, although if Napoli wanted to re-sign Jorginho we’d be available for that.”

Inter are thought to be seeking an understudy for Marcelo Brozovic in their play-maker position ahead of next season, although no reports have linked the Nerazzurri with Jorginho so far.

Antonio Conte’s side were in fact rumoured to be interested in AZ Alkmaar captain Teun Koopmeiners last week, for whom they could face competition from Roma.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is also thought to be studying a deal for Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Jorginho has made 128 appearances in total for Chelsea since his move to England three summers ago.
