Inter could snap up Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico for just €15 million, according to reports in the UK.

The Daily Mail revealed recently that the Eredivisie leaders would not stand in the 28-year-old’s way if he received offers from Europe’s top clubs.

Inter are being linked with a move for Tagliafico in the Italian media and the Nerazzurri’s interest was reiterated today by an article from The Sun.

Ajax are prepared to sell the Argentine for £13 million (roughly €15 million) after Tagliafico stayed loyal to them by staying at the club in previous seasons.

Inter would have competition in the Premier League from Manchester City and Leeds, The Sun added, as well as La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid.

Tagliafico admitted earlier this month that he was flattered by Inter’s rumoured interest and revealed Javier Zanetti had been an idol of his since childhood.

He has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Ajax this season, scoring once and providing four assists.
