Two of the Juventus fans responsible for hurling racist abuse at Inter striker Romelu Lukaku in Tuesday evening’s Coppa Italia semifinal first leg match against Juventus have been identified.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that one adult and one minor who had been shouting “monkey” chants at the 29-year-old Belgian international have been identified by the Bianconeri and will both receive stadium bans,

Inter striker Lukaku was the subject of racial abuse during Tuesday evening’s Coppa Italia semifinal first leg against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

There were “monkey” chants targeting the 29-year-old as well as reportedly other racially derogatory language coming from the stand behind the Bianconeri goal.

Video has emerged of two Bianconeri fans in particular engaged in racist chants against the Nerazzurri striker.

Moreover, it has been reported that investors from the FIGC (Italian FA) had found that the “majority” of the fans in the Tribuna Sud stand behind the goal had been involved in the racist chanting in some capacity.

According to Sky, Juventus have uncovered the identity of two of the fans who were at the centre of the video which went viral of some Bianconeri supporters hurling abuse at Lukaku as part of their investigation into the scandal.

The broadcaster reports that of the pair, the fan who is a minor will receive a ten-year stadium ban from the club, whilst the adult will receive a lifetime ban.

The Turin-based club have also turned over the identities of the two fans in question to investigators.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri’s investigation into the scandal from Tuesday’s match continues, as does the investigation of the authorities into what exactly happened.

Sky also reports that Juventus have requested all the documentation from the police regarding possible stadium closures in response to the scandalous incident on Tuesday night.
