Empoli have made the asking price for young Inter, AC Milan, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund target Tomaso Baldanzi clear.
This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the 20-year-old would cost around €15 million to sign this summer, as big clubs start to sit up and take notice of his form for the Tuscans this season.
Baldanzi has been reported to be a target for both Inter and AC Milan, with his impressive form in what has been a real breakout campaign for him having convinced the pair that he could be ready to take the step up.
The young attacking midfielder’s dribbling and eye for a pass in the final third have been particularly important to this Empoli side under coach Paolo Zanetti, helping them establish a firm foothold in the middle of the Serie A table.
The 20-year-old has even been linked as a possible replacement for Joaquin Correa at Inter in a report earlier this season, with the similar profile of a player capable of unlocking matches with a bit of invention with the ball at his feet noted.
Baldanzi was also the scorer of the only goal in a famous 1-0 win for Empoli over Inter at the San Siro in January, a match which had seen Nerazzurri defender Milan Skriniar sent off for two first-half yellow cards.
Calciomercato confirm that Baldanzi is on the radars of both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri, but not just the city rivals.
According to the Italian outlet, Napoli would also be interested in giving Baldanzi a move to a bigger club within Serie A, whilst in the Bundesliga current table-toppers Borussia Dortmund are also keen on signing the young attacking midfielder.
Calciomercato report that Empoli would listen to offers of €15 million or more to sell Baldanzi during the summer transfer window.
