Juventus defender Bremer is set to be fit for tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italia semifinal second leg match against Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Brazilian international will be available as part of the Bianconeri’s squad as he was rested in the Serie A match against Napoli over the weekend.

Bremer will hardly be a player who Juventus want to be without as they look to book their place in the Coppa Italia.

The 26-year-old has been a key player in Max Allegri’s backline all season, since his arrival from Torino last summer.

Even though Bremer had been the player responsible for committing a major error by giving away a penalty in stoppage time of the semifinal first leg against Inter earlier this month, from which Romelu Lukaku equalized, he will still be a player with a potentially key role in tomorrow’s second leg.

Against Napoli on Sunday evening, the Brazilian was not used, as it was instead Federico Gatti and Daniele Rugani who started in defense for the Bianconeri, who lined up with an initial back four.

However, according to Tuttosport this was because Allegri rested the defender, with a view towards having him back fit for tomorrow evening’s match against Inter.

Bremer had looked close to joining Inter for a large part of last summer transfer window, with the player reportedly having told Torino that he wanted the Nerazzurri and had already agreed terms on a four-year deal.

However, in the end the Nerazzurri were unable to get a deal for the Brazilian over the line, and he ended up making the switch to the Granata’s city rivals Juventus instead.

Meanwhile, Bianconeri coach Max Allegri has also updated that midfielder Paul Pogba will be fit for tomorrow’s match, whilst striker Dusan Vlahovic is a major doubt.
