Inter Milan linked Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi doesn’t hide that he enjoys being linked with big clubs.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the 23-year-old gave his thoughts on what being linked with big clubs like the Nerazzurri and teams in the Premier Leagues has meant to him.

Frattesi has enjoyed a breakout couple of seasons with Sassuolo.

The young midfielder has clearly proven himself at the top flight level with the Neroverdi. This has naturally led to a fair bit of interest in his signature.

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has dropped a hint that offers could come in for Frattesi.

The likes of Inter and Juventus are reportedly both ready to go head-to-head to sign the 23-year-old.

There is little doubt that Frattesi is set to be one of the hot names for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Roma are also keen, whilst Frattesi could also be seen as a possible Nicolo Barella replacement at Inter.

For now, the Neroverdi man still has the rest of the season with his current club to think about. Frattesi was on the scoresheet for Sassuolo against Inter in this Saturday’s 4-2 Serie A thriller.

Inter & Juventus Target Frattesi Opens Up About His Future

Frattesi was asked about the interest from big teams, including those in the Premier League.

“I honestly haven’t thought about it,” he said. “The Premier League is an top-level league and you have to play at 100% to go there.”

“You have to be prepared,” he said. “I think it would make sense to take another step forward before moving there, but in life and in the transfer market you never know.”

However, Frattesi isn’t getting ahead of himself.

“I want to finish the season well with Sassuolo,” he said. “I promised the club director that I wouldn’t talk about the transfer market, and I want to keep my word.”
