Former Inter Milan stars Ivan Perisic and Achraf Hakimi will be at the San Siro to watch the Nerazzurri take on AC Milan this evening in the Champions League.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo, currently of Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain respectively, will be in attendance in the stadium for the semifinal second leg clash.

Inter fans around the world are anticipating this evening’s match with excitement and anxiety.

The Nerazzurri have a 2-0 lead to protect from the first leg, and if they can do so, will reach the biggest match in European club football.

The last time Inter were in the Champions League final was in 2010. The sense of opportunity is palpable.

Among the fans supporting Inter in this evening’s match are many former players. Even though many players have moved on, they still retain a connection to the Nerazzurri.

PSG’s Achraf Hakimi & Tottenham’s Ivan Perisic Supporting Inter Tonight

Among those former Inter players set to urge the team on tonight are Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic.

Moroccan international Hakimi left Inter to join PSG in the summer of 2021. The ex-Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund man had played a key role in the 2020-21 Serie A title win.

Last summer, Perisic left to join Spurs. The Croatian World Cup finalist decided to move on to a new challenge in the Premier League, and departed on a free transfer.

Both of the pair continue to support the Nerazzurri, however.

According to Sky, both will be at the San Siro this evening.

It has even been reported that both of Hakimi and Perisic want Inter returns in the future.

Both could well tread the same path back to the San Siro that Romelu Lukaku did last summer from Chelsea.

In any event, both former Nerazzurri players will be at the stadium this evening to watch the derby clash with AC Milan.
