Referee Livio Marinelli will be the referee in charge of Inter’s Serie A match against Napoli on Sunday at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

This is confirmed by an official announcement of the officiating crews for all ten matches to be played during the upcoming round of fixtures in the league made by the Lega Serie A, as reported by FCInterNews, which also lists the rest of the officials for the match.

38-year-old referee Marinelli has been refereeing matches at the Serie A level since the the 2017-18 season, making his debut in the top flight in a 3-1 Atalanta win over Hellas Verona.

This season, Marinelli has been involved in two Inter Milan matches.

The 38-year-old took charge of the Nerazzuri’s shock 1-2 loss away to Spezia. Additionally, Marinelli officiated Inter’s 3-0 win against Empoli at the San Siro last month.

Assisting Guida in his duties will be Daniele Bindoni and Valerio Collarossi. Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Matteo Marcenaro.

In the VAR room, Luigi Nasca will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch crew are corrected. He will be assisted in his duties by Daniele Chiffi.
