Referee Michael Fabbri has been appointed to be in charge of Saturday evening’s Serie A clash between Torino and Inter Milan.

This is confirmed by an official announcement of the officiating crews for all ten matches to be played during the upcoming round of fixtures in the league made by the Lega Serie A, as reported by FCInterNews, which also lists the rest of the officials for the match.

39-year-old referee Fabbri has been refereeing matches at the Serie A level since the the 2012-13 season. He made his debut in the Italian top flight by taking charge of a Parma win away at Cagliari in 2013.

This season, Fabbri has been involved in three Inter Milan matches.

The 39-year-old was in charge of the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 loss away to Lazio in Serie A in September.

Then, he has been the referee for a 1-0 Serie A win over Hellas Verona, and then for last month’s 1-1 draw away to Salernitana.

Fabbri To Take Charge Of Torino Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash – Chiffi & Doveri In The VAR Booth

Assisting Fabbri in his duties will be Mauro Galetto and Marco Ceccon. Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Daniele Minelli.

In the VAR room, Daniele Chiffi will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch crew are corrected. He will be assisted in his duties by Daniele Doveri.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch as they aim to do the double over Torino.

Last time around, the Nerazzurri beat the Granata by a solitary goal. Marcelo Brozovic proved the match-winning hero late on.

Inter have already secured a spot in next season’s Champions League by beating Atalanta last weekend. However, they will still be keen to wrap their league campaign up with a win.
