Inter Milan are ready to go “all-in” to sign young Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi during the summer transfer window.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported in a tweet that meetings are already underway for the 23-year-old, who is also a target for Juventus and Roma.

Inter’s plans to revamp their squad for next season are starting to take shape.

In midfield, Pedulla reports, they have identified a key target – Sassuolo star Frattesi.

Inter already showed an interest in signing the Italian international last summer. However, he stayed put at the Neroverdi.

However, it looks likely that Frattesi will leave Emilia-Romagna this summer.

Apart from the Nerazzuri, Juventus are keen on signing the 23-year-old according to Pedulla. Meanwhile, he reports that Roma in particular are keen on Frattesi’s signature.

Meanwhile, Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly interested in bringing the 23-year-old to the Premier League. Roberto De Zerbi could play a decisive influence in his club’s chase of Frattesi.

The Sassuolo midfielder is also a target for Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter Milan Already In Talks With Sassuolo To Sign Davide Frattesi

Crucially, Pedulla reports that Inter have already opened up talks with Sassuolo to try and sign Frattesi.

The Nerazzurri are not waiting around despite the summer transfer window being in its infancy. They are moving to gain ground in the race for Frattesi’s just a few days after Champions League final heartbreak against Manchester City.

The coming days could already be crucial to see where the 23-year-old’s future will lay.

Last season was Frattesi’s second in Serie A.

In the 2021-22 campaign, the midfielder had his first season with the Sassuolo first team in the top flight after loans with Ascoli, Empoli, and Monza in Serie B.

Frattesi scored seven goals in 36 Serie A league starts last season.

The 23-year-old has also received four caps from Roberto Mancini for the senior Italian national team.
