Both of Joaquin Correa and Edin Dzeko will likely leave Inter Milan this summer as the club prepares for some upheaval in attack.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that both of the pair are getting closer and closer to the exit door for the summer transfer window.

Inter’s squad could be in for some big changes all over the pitch.

However, attack could be an area which sees some particularly significant comings and goings.

Lautaro Martinez is virtually certain to stay, and the Nerazzurri want to bring back Romelu Lukaku. However, the other two forwards’ situations are different.

Correa & Dzeko Both Headoing Towards Exit Door At Inter Milan

First of all, forward ex-Lazio man Correa looks as though he will leave ahead of next season.

Correa joined Inter with plenty of expectation, and for a significant transfer fee, in the summer of 2021 from the Biancocelsti.

The Argentine had shown his quality for three seasons playing under coach Simone Inzaghi at the Biancocelesti, and he followed the coach to Inter from the Italian capital.

However, after a first season in which injuries and form that could be generously described as stop-start disrupted Correa’s contribution, things have if anything only gotten worse in the 28-year-old’s second campaign with the club.

Accordingly, a summer move away looks very probable for the Argentine.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Correa this summer.

The same club have reportedly offered a two-year deal to Inter striker Dzeko.

The Nerazzurri have also offered the Bosnian former Manchester City and Roma man a contract extension.

However, at the moment it looks clear that Dzeko doesn’t intend on accepting Inter’s offer.

The 37-year-old will instead leave on a free transfer, although it’s not yet clear where.
