Fiorentina and Villarreal are ready to join Inter Milan in the race to sign Hertha Berlin forward Dodi Lukebakio this summer.

This according to German news outlet Bild, via FCInterNews, who report that Hertha will demand €10 million to sell the Belgian.

The broadcaster report that the Nerazzurri are keen on signing Hertha forward Lukebakio.

This season, Hertha have suffered relegation from the Bundesiga. The Berlin-based side’s campaign has been a disastrous one, with them finishing rock bottom of the German top flight table.

However, for forward Lukebakio it’s been a strong campaign on an individual level.

The Belgian has scored eleven goals in 32 league appearances across the season. He has also scored once in one appearance in the German Cup.

Clearly, it looks unlikely that Lukebakio will stick around at Hertha now that they will be playing in the second division next season.

Reports suggest that Inter are keen to sign Lukebakio. The Nerazzurri view the 25-year-old as a possible replacement for Fenerbahce target Joaquin Correa.

With Edin Dzeko also looking ready to leave, and the future of Romelu Lukaku also uncertain, it looks certain that Inter will make at least one attacking signing during the summer transfer window.

Fiorentina & Villarreal Rival Inter Milan To Sign Lukebakio

The Nerazzurri are not the only team who are keen to sign Lukebakio, however.

The fact that the 25-year-old will be available at a cut-price fee due to Hertha’s relegation is attracting several suitors.

One of these is Inter’s Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The Nerazzurri beat La Viola in the final of the Coppa Italia this season.

The Tuscans want to give an attacking reinforcement to Vincenzo Italiano for another season in European competition.

Meanwhile, Villarreal are also big fans of Lukebakio.

Belgian international Lukebakio has received seven senior caps for the Red Devils.
