Inter Milan have agreed a €7m fee with Danish club Aarhus to sign Germany Under-21 international defender Yann Aurel Bisseck.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 22-year-old is getting closer and closer to arriving at Inter as a backup option to Alessandro Bastoni for next season.

Inter are not wasting any time in their pursuit of former Koln academy graduate Bisseck.

Reportedly, the Nerazzurri have already agreed personal terms with the German. The Gazzetta confirm that Bisseck is keen to make the move to play at the San Siro.

Moreover, the newspaper reports, there is also an agreement between the two clubs on a deal.

Inter Milan Agree Deal With Danish Club Aarhus For Yann Aurel Bisseck

The Nerazzurri have not only held talks with Bisseck and his representatives, but also with the player’s current club Aarhus.

Bisseck joined Aarhus on loan from Koln in the summer of 2021. Then, last summer, the Danes signed the defender on a permanent basis.

According to the Gazzetta, the talks between Inter and Aarhus have moved fast.

The Nerazzurri have made a €7 million, which the Danish club will accept.

According to the newspaper, further negotiations early next week should see everything fully ironed out. At that point, Bisseck will be all ready to become an Inter player for next season.

Germany Starlet Bisseck Seen As Ideal Deputy For Alessandro Bastoni

The Nerazzurri have identified Bisseck as an ideal young defensive reinforcement.

Bisseck, the Gazzetta report, will join as a backup to Alessandro Bastoni.

During the season just gone, the 24-year-old has had no real deputy in the squad.

Either Francesco Acerbi has shifted to the left or Federico Dimarco has moved into defense when Bastoni has been out.

Now, the Nerazzurri will have a true backup for Bastoni. Bisseck is used to playing on the left of a back three despite being right-footed.
