Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani has made clear that he expects there is no chance he’ll leave on loan this summer.

Speaking to the official social media channel of the Albanian national team, via FCInterNews, Asllani clarified his future. The 21-year-old explained that he is happy staying at Inter and learning from more experienced players in the squad.

Asllani joined Inter last summer from Empoli.

His first season as a nerazzurri player has been something of a mixed back for the Albanian starlet.

On the one hand, the young midfielder has shown glimpses of why the Nerazzurri signed him. Despite his young age, Asllani can already boast a very mature and calm style of play, in and out of possession.

There is still a strong feeling that the 21-year-old can evolve into a top-class Serie A regista.

On the other hand, Asllani has hardly been a regular in the starting eleven. Whilst the Albanian has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Inter, few of these have been starts.

This lack of playing time has led to some rumours and doubts about whether Asllani has a future at Inter. For their part, the Nerazzurri reportedly have zero intention of selling or loaning the Albanian.

For his part, the 21-year-old has stated that he has every intention of staying at Inter.

Kristjan Asllani: I’m Not Leaving Inter Milan On Loan

Just because Asllani wants to remain at Inter player, doesn’t mean he’ll wear the Nerazzurri shirt next season.

Given the importance of playing time at this stage of his career, a loan move could be a possibility. There would be no shortage of clubs looking to bring the 21-year-old in.

However, from the perspective of the player concerned, this is not on the cards.

Asllani believes that he is fine where he is, and it’s the right place for his development.\

Asked if a loan is a possibility for next season, the Inter midfielder replied “No. I’ve grown a lot, and I’m leaning a lot from Calhanoglu and Brozovic.”
