Al-Nassr have made Inter Milan an offer of €15 million to sign midfielder Marcelo Brozovic this summer.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air moments ago via FCInterNews that the Saudi Pro League club have made their first official offer for the 30-year-old, and that Inter have lined up Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi as his replacement.

Al-Nassr are ready to continue the summer of spending on big name players from European football that they and the other big clubs within their league have embarked on.

Signing a player of Brozovic’s calibre would certainly represent a coup for Al-Nassr.

However, the Saudi side are reportedly keen. They have now made their official offer.

Al-Nassr Offer Inter Milan €15M For Marcelo Brozovic

According to Di Marzio, a formal offer for Brozovic has arrived on Inter’s doorstep.

Al-Nassr have made their initial offer of €15 million for the Croatian international.

It is not clear whether the Nerazzurri will consider this anywhere near sufficient to sell Brozovic, or whether they would want considerably more.

Equally uncertain is whether Brozovic would have any interest in leaving European football to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. The 30-year-old is also reportedly a major target for Barcelona, who see him as a Sergio Busquets replacement.

Whilst just a few months ago Brozovic being sold would’ve seemed unthinkable, his situation has changed.

The Croat has missed long spells with injuries in the season just gone. Whilst he was out, Hakan Calhanoglu has emerged as a starting-quality option in his position.

Moreover, a rift has reportedly formed between Brozovic and Inter. Management of the midfielder’s injuries are reportedly central to the reason for this.

Inter Line Up Sassuolo & Italy Breakout Star As Replacement If Brozovic Leaves

According to Di Marzio, Inter know exactly what they plan to do if they sell Brozovic.

The Nerazzurri will immediately reinvest any fee they receive for the Croat in a move for Davide Frattesi.
