Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is getting close to the exit door at Inter Milan, as Barcelona and Al-Nassr move in.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air moments via FCInterNews ago the the offers are coming in for the 30-year-old Croatian international, who will make a decision about his future in the next few days.

Only a few months ago Brozovic being sold would’ve seemed unthinkable. However, the midfielder’s situation at Inter has changed.

The Croat has missed long spells with injuries in the season just gone. Whilst he was out, Hakan Calhanoglu has emerged as a starting-quality option in his position.

Moreover, a rift has reportedly formed between Brozovic and Inter. Management of the midfielder’s injuries are reportedly central to the reason for this.

Brozovic One Step Away From Leaving Inter As Barcelona & Al-Nassr Push

With Brozovic no longer “untouchable” at Inter the offers are arriving for this summer.

La Liga champions Barcelona have long been admirers of the Croat. They are now targeting him as a replacement for club legend Sergio Busquets in the holding midfield role.

According to Di Marzio, the Balaugranas have currently gone as high as €18 million with their offer to Inter. To the player, they have offered a three-year deal.

Di Marzio reports that Al-Nassr have offered €18 million to Inter as well.

The Saudi Pro League club’s offer is creeping up from a reported earlier bid of €15 million. It is still some way from Inter’s €25 million asking price, however.

According to Di Marzio, there is still some way to go before Inter accept a bid and complete a sale to any club.

However, both Barcelona and Al-Nassr are becoming more persistent in their pursuit of Brozovic.

And, as for the player concerned, he is ready to leave. He will consider the offers before him over the next few days.

Inter Milan To Target Italy Breakout Star As Replacement

According to Di Marzio, as soon as Inter complete a sale of Brozovic, they will move for a midfielder to replace him.

The Nerazzurri’s target is Sassuolo star Davide Frattesi.

Inter have reportedly been working to sign the 23-year-old for the past couple weeks. However, they will not do so until they can fund the deal with a significant transfer fee.

A fee for Brozovic will be enough for the Nerazzurri to move.

Di Marzio reports that Inter want to move to beat the competition of Juventus and Roma for Frattesi’s signature.
