Inter Milan could be ready to cash in on Man United linked goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer for the right offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also report that the Nerazzurri have their ideal replacement lined up in the form of Empoli’s Guglielmo Vicario.

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly thinking about reigniting their pursuit of Inter keeper Onana.

It would take a significant offer to turn the Nerazzurri’s head.

The Cameroonian may have only joined Inter from Ajax on a free transfer over the summer. However, his performances in his first campaign fro the Nerazzurri have really caught the eye.

Onana has made a total of forty appearances for Inter across his first season at the club. This has seen him displace club captain Samir Handanovic as the first-choice option in goal.

Thee 27-year-old’s performances in the Champions League have particularly won him admirers.

Inter Milan Open To Offers From Man United For Andre Onana

According to the Corriere, however, it is not as though Inter consider Onana unsellable.

The reason for this is the now-familiar theme of budgetary concerns. The Nerazzurri have a significant amount of summer transfer business that they want to do.

Accordingly, a big sale could be necessary to fund some of the new signings the club are after. If Onana can fetch a big fee, Inter would prefer to sell the 27-year-old over parting with Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez, or Alessandro Bastoni.

As such, Inter are waiting to see what United offers for the Cameroonian.

Nerazzurri Want Vicario As Replacement If Onana Leaves

The Corriere confirm widespread reports that Inter know exactly who they’ll go after if they sell Onana.

Empoli star Guglielmo Vicario is the player who Inter want to take the former Ajax keeper’s place.

The Nerazzurri have the 26-year-old at the top of their shortlist. He is favoured over Marco Carnesecchi and Giorgio Mamardashvili.
