Inter Milan will sign young German defender Yann Bisseck after he’s finished with the ongoing Under-21 Euros.

This according to Italian news outlet GianlucaDiMarzio.com, who report that the Nerazzurri have everything ready to sign the 22-year-old on a five-year deal from Danish club Aarhus.

Inter have been working to try and sign Germany Under-21 international Bisseck.

The Nerazzurri have identified the former Koln youth academy product as an ideal young defensive reinforcement.

Bisseck will reportedly join as a backup to Alessandro Bastoni. During the season just gone the 24-year-old has had no real deputy in the squad.

Either Francesco Acerbi has shifted to the left or Federico Dimarco has moved into defense when Bastoni has been out.

Now the Nerazzurri will have a true backup for Bastoni. Bisseck is used to playing on the left of a back three despite being right-footed.

The German is playing at the Under-21 Euros with Die Mannschaft. Accordingly, the national team is the young defender’s current priority.

However, the tournament will wrap up in the next few weeks, with the final on the eighth of next month.

Whenever either the tournament ends or Germany are eliminated, Bisseck will be released from international duty. Then, it won’t be long before the 22-year-old joins Inter from Aarhus, according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Bisseck will sign a contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2028.

The Nerazzurri will pay the defender’s current club Aarhus a €7 million fee. They will make the payments to the Danish side in two equal instalments of €3.5 million.

Bisseck made 32 appearances for Aarhus in the Danish top flight last season.
