Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is reflecting on his future as the interest of Al-Nassr and Barcelona looms.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who reveal that the 30-year-old’s preference is in fact to remain at Inter, although the Nerazzurri are pushing to sell him this summer transfer window.

Brozovic knows that the next few days will be decisive ones.

The Croat has been at Inter for eight and a half years. However, his Nerazzurri adventure looks very likely to come to an end this summer.

Al-Nassr are making a big push to sign Brozovic. The 30-year-old could accept the Saudi Pro League club’s offer of a mega money contract to leave European football.

However, on the other hand Barcelona are ready to make the Inter midfielder a different kind of offer.

If Brozovic is determined to stay at the highest competitive level in Europe, he could make the switch to the Camp Nou. He would certainly not earn the same kind of wages as he would at Al-Nassr.

However, according to FCIN, the Blaugranas are very much in Brozovic’s thoughts at the moment. He isn’t ready to turn them down to join Al-Nasse.

FCIN also reveal that, apart from having two very different potential moves away to consider, Brozovic would also favour remaining at the Nerazzurri.

According to the Italian outlet, the player’s entourage have given the impression that he has no strong desire to leave.

At the moment, it looks as though Brozovic will be on his way nevertheless. However, from the player’s perspective, he’s in no rush.

Only a few months ago Brozovic being sold would’ve seemed unthinkable. However, the midfielder’s situation at Inter has changed.

The Croat has missed long spells with injuries in the season just gone. Whilst he was out, Hakan Calhanoglu has emerged as a starting-quality option in his position.

Moreover, a rift has reportedly formed between Brozovic and Inter. Management of the midfielder’s injuries are reportedly central to the reason for this.
