Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is still considering the interest of Barcelona as he hasn’t yet accepted a move to Al-Nassr.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia transfer market expert, via FCInter1908.

Inter and Al-Nassr held a meeting this afternoon. The subject of the talks was the negotiations for a transfer of Nerazzurri midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The clubs more or less came to an agreement on the terms of the deal. If Brozovic is to give his go-ahead then the Croat will be off to the Saudi Pro League.

However, the green light from the player concerned is still missing. The 30-year-old has long had Al-Nassr’s big money offer in front of him.

However, Brozovic is thinking long and hard about his future. And the reason, Pedulla reports, is that the midfielder has yet to decisively reject Barcelona’s interest to accept a move to Al-Nassr.

Inter Milan Star Marcelo Brozovic Still Intrigued By Barcelona Interest

In the meantime, Barcelona have also been trying to sign the 30-year-old.

The La Liga champions have made signing a replacement for Sergio Busquets a priority for this summer transfer window.

Having seemingly missed out on Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich and Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimenti, the Blaugranas have been ready to turn to Brozovic.

This is far from the first time that Barcelona have went after Brozovic.

The Blaugranas had already discussed a prospective swap between Brozovic and former AC Milan and Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie with Inter in January.

Barcelona aren’t giving up on Brozovic. The 30-year-old is their priority target to replace club legend Busquets.

Given this, the Catalan giants have been making a last-ditch attempt to convince Brozovic to reject Al-Nassr and come to the Camp Nou.

Barcelona coach Xavi has spoken with the Inter midfielder.

And for his part, Brozovic is still considering the possibility. He could yet reject the massive money offer to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.
