Bundesliga club Wolfsburg are keen to sign Inter Milan wingback Robin Gosens this summer.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the German side have registered their interest in bringing in the 28-year-old former Atalanta man although as of yet they have not made an official bid to the Nerazzurri.
Gosens looks to be a player who Inter are ready to sell this summer.
The Nerazzurri would reportedly listen to offers of around €15-20 million for the 28-year-old German international.
The likes of Union Berlin, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest have reportedly shown an interest in signing Gosens.
Wolfsburg Want Inter Milan Wingback Robin Gosens
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, are also seriously considering a move for the Inter wingback.
According to SportItalia, the Saxon club are targeting Gosens despite the fact that they cannot offer him European football. They want to reinforce their left flank for next season and believe they can lure the 28-year-old to the Bundesliga.
SportItalia report that Wolfsburg have not yet tabled a formal offer to Inter for Gosens.
However, their interest is real according to the broadcaster.
Gosens Could Leave Inter This Summer
Gosens only joined Inter a season and a half ago from Atalanta. The German joined during the January transfer window last year.
However, Gosens never really managed to nail down a starting place for himself.
In his first half-season at Inter, Gosens was behind Ivan Perisic in the pecking order. Then, the last go around it was Federico Dimarco ahead of the former Atalanta player.
Accordingly, Inter could sell Gosens.
The German made 49 appearances for Inter in all competitions last season. However, many of these came from the bench.
Monza wingback Carlos Augusto is the player Inter reportedly have lined up to replace the German.
Reportedly Inter are already in talks to potentially sign the Brazilian, who scored six and assisted five goals last season.
