Inter Milan are looking at Giorgi Mamardashvili, Anatoliy Trubin, and Keylor Navas as possible replacements for Man United target Andre Onana.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

It is still far from certain that Onana will leave Inter this summer.

However, things are certainly moving in that direction. Manchester United are reportedly prepared to make an offer that meets Inter’s demands of around €50 million plus add-ons.

If the Premier League giants do find an agreement with Inter, Onana himself would be ready to make the switch.

Accordingly, the Gazzetta report, securing a replacement for the Cameroonian is key for the Nerazzurri.

According to the newspaper, Inter have three players in particular in mind. Two are of a younger profile, whilst the third would represent the more experienced option.

Inter Milan Line Up Mamardashvili, Trubin & Navas As Onana Replacements

One of Inter’s major targets to take the place of Onana if the 27-year-old is sold is Valencia breakout star Giorgi Mamardashvili.

The 22-year-old Georgian international has just enjoyed an outstanding season in La Liga.

The Gazzetta report that Mamardashvili’s club will demand at least €20 million for their star goalkeeper. Then, the Nerazzurri will have to consider whether they want to reinvest a chunk of a transfer fee for Onana in the Georgian.

Also on the Nerazzurri’s list is Shakhtar Donetsk star Trubin.

The Ukrainian has already emerged as the clear Number One both for club and country. However, his contract with Shakhtar runs out at the end of next June.

According to the Gazzetta, the Ukrainian giants are not considering selling the 21-year-old for a cut-price fee despite his contract situation.

Nevertheless, Inter feel that Trubin would be within their reach due to his contract situation.

A different kind of target for Inter to replace Onana would be former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain veteran Keylor Navas.

The Nerazzurri could go after the Costa Rican as something of a stopgap solution who offers proven quality.

The Gazzetta reports that Nottingham Forest keeper Navas is on Inter’s list should they decide to shore up the goalkeeping position in the short term while they plan their next move rather than making an investment in a younger keeper.
