Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr have made a big money bid to try and rival Man United to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

This according to US broadcaster CBS Sports. The broadcaster reports that the Saudi club aren’t finished with signing Marcelo Brozovic from Inter, and will try and lure the 27-year-old keeper as well.

Earlier today, Al-Nassr completed the signing of Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The 30-year-old has become the latest big name star to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League on a lucrative deal.

However, CBS reports, Al-Nassr are also keen to sign another of the Nerazzurri’s biggest names. Namely, former Ajax keeper Onana.

Al-Nassr Want To Beat Man United To Signing Andre Onana

Onana is already at the centre of a lot of transfer rumours this summer.

Premier League giants Manchester United are keen to sign the Cameroonian. Chelsea had also been considering a move for Onana earlier in the window.

However, according to CBS, they could face a different kind of competition.

The US broadcaster reports that Al-Nassr have made a bid for Onana. They do not, however, specify, the exact amount offered to either Inter or to the player.

However, reports suggest that Inter want at least €60 million for Onana. This is the amount that they’ve asked for in talks with United and Chelsea already.

Inter would be open to offers for Onana despite the fact that he has been a key player for them last season.

This is because the Nerazzurri are thinking of using the money for a sale of the keeper to fund other transfer business this summer. Considering the 27-year-old signed on a free transfer twelve months ago, the fee would be pure capital gains.

Onana was one of Inter’s key players on the way to reaching the Champions League final last season. Accordingly, if Al-Nassr could pull off a deal for him ahead of some of Europe’s elite, it would certainly be one of the biggest statements yet from the Saudi Pro League.
