Davide Frattesi could undergo his medicals ahead of a transfer to Inter Milan as early as this Friday.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Ginaluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the 23-year old Sassuolo and Italy star could already be set for the final formalities on his move to the Nerazzurri by the end of this week.

Inter have been pushing to get a deal done for Frattesi, and now they look to be almost over the finish line.

The Nerazzurri have a verbal agreement on a transfer with Sassuolo. According to Di Marzio, they will pay a fee of around €26-27 million, in addition to sending striker Samuele Mulattieri in the other direction.

The clubs value Mulattieri at around €6 million in the deal, Di Marzio reports.

He also reveals that Frattesi will sign a five-year contract with Inter. The Italian international will earn around €2.8 million net per season over the course of his deal.

Inter have beaten the likes of AC Milan, Roma, and Juventus to the 23-year-old’s signature.
