Inter Milan are ready to offer young striker Samuele Mulattieri plus cash to land Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that a player-plus-cash offer will be key to the Nerazzurri’s offer to signing the 23-year-old this summer.

It is no secret that Inter are keen to sign Neroverdi midfielder Frattesi.

Recent reports have confirmed that the 23-year-old is one of the Nerazzurri’s major targets for the summer. They see him as an ideal option to reinforce in central areas ahead of next season.

Roberto Gagliardini will leave Inter on a free transfer when his contract runs out at the end of this month. Meanwhile, the future of Marcelo Brozovic is uncertain.

As such, there are one or two vacancies in Inter’s midfield. Frattesi is reportedly their main candidate to fill it.

Inter Preparing Mulattieri + Cash Offer For Sassuolo Start Davide Frattesi

Inter are very keen on Frattesi, but must deal with the matter of Sassuolo’s €35-40 million asking price for their midfield star.

The Neroverdi are open to selling the 23-year-old, who is a target Juventus and Roma. However, as is their modus operandi, the Emilians will only sell for the right price.

On the other hand, Inter know full well that Sassuolo could be interested in signing a young player in return. The Neroverdi are renowned for developing youngsters.

According to the Gazzetta, Inter are not keen on offering Gaetano Oristanio or Giovanni Fabbian. The duo are seen as important parts of future plans, and the Nerazzurri don’t want to let them leave for good.

However, one player they could offer is striker Mulattieri.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a very positive campaign on loan with Frosinone in the season just gone. He scored twelve times to help fire the Lazio-based club to promotion to Serie A.

Accordingly, Sassuolo consider Mulattieri a target.

Inter would be ready to use the striker to sign Frattesi.
