AC Milan could offer experiencfed winger Junior Messias as part of a deal to land Torino wingback Wilfried Singo ahead of Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoneri are fomrulating a strategy to win the race for the signature of 22-year-old Ivorian international Singo.

Singo is a player who’s been on Inter’s radar for some time now.

The Granata wingback has been a player they’ve identified as a prospective replacement for Denzel Dumfries for a couple transfer window. However, the Dutchman has always stayed put to date and so there was no need to pursue a replacement.

However, the departure of Raoul Bellanova changes things.

The 22-year-old will not be returning to Inter next season. Torino have snapped him up after his loan spell with the Nerazzurri expired, and they declined to exercise a purchase option.

However, Inter are also hoping to bring a player right back in the form of Singo.

But they face major competition for the Ivorian’s signature, in the former of their city rivals and fellow Champions League semifinalists Milan.

AC Milan Hoping That Messias Inclusion Allows Them To Beat Inter To Torino Star Singo

One card that Milan could try to play is enticing Torino with a player-plus-cash offer.

32-year-old Junior Messias is a player who the Rossoneri would considering letting go of.

And the veteran Brazilian could well be on the Granata’s radar. Whilst Messias may find playing time harder to come by with Milan, he could make an impact in Serie A.

According to Tuttosport, Milan value Messias at around €4 million.

Meanwhile, Torino’s asking price for Singo is around €15 million. However, they could negotiate that down to around €12 million.

Accordingly, Milan’s offer of Messias in a deal could prove crucial.

The Rossoneri could bring down the cash fee and also persuade Torino with the inclusion of a player.
