Inter Milan have reassured Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku they’ll do everything they can to sign him over the coming days.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri have told the player their next move should come tomorrow.

Inter have made signing Lukaku back from Chelsea a priority.

And for his part, the player has made his will clear. The 30-year-old former Manchester United and Everton striker only wants Inter.

However, the one party not on the same page as of yet are Chelsea.

The Blues have continued to reject Inter’s offers throughout the summer.

Chelsea have made their stance clear that they will not accept any straight loan deals for Lukaku. They want to sell the Belgian on a permanent basis.

Moreover, the Blues are hoping to sell the player for a big cash fee to Al-Hilal.

Therefore, Chelsea have been reluctant to accept any of Inter’s bids so far. And even with the Nerazzurri shifting their approach to offering either a straight cash fee, the Blues are still not opening up as fast as Inter or Lukaku will have hoped.

Inter Milan Assure Romelu Lukaku Their Next Move With Chelsea Will Come Soon

However, Inter are certainly not giving up.

And, reports Mediaset, they have made a point of communicating to Lukaku that they are ready to make another push.

The Nerazzurri will make another offer tomorrow.

The broadcaster report that Inter’s next offer could be for a paid loan with a €15 million fee, containing a purchase obligation to sign the Belgian for a fee of €20 million at the end of the season when his loan deal expires.

The Nerazzurri will still have to search around for the right amount and formula to make a deal happen.

However, they are in any event committed to trying to break Chelsea’s resistance.

And they have communicated to the player that he should sit tight as their next big move won’t be long.
