Inter Milan have inquired about the possibility of loaning Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch for next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the 21-year-old former Ajax midfielder has come onto the Nerazzurri’s radar as a possible final midfield signing of the summer to replace Roberto Gagliardini.

Inter have already made one major midfield change this summer.

Marcelo Brozovic has left for Al-Nassr, and in his place Davide Frattesi has arrived from Sassuolo.

However, Roberto Gagliardini has also left the club. The former Atalanta man had been the “sixth” midfielder in the rotation last season, and Inter won’t want to go without replacing him.

For the long and gruelling season ahead, the Nerazzurri will aim to have six midfielders.

Accordingly, the club are searching far and wide for a possible target to replace Gagliardini.

Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic is one player on Inter’s radar in this search. However, the 21-year-old won’t necessarily come cheap.

Meanwhile, Roberto Pereyra is likely to join Besiktas on a free transfer. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will miss out on the ex-Juventus and Watford man who was one of their main low-cost targets.

Inter Milan Inquire About Loaning Bayern Star Ryan Gravenberch

Another player who has evidently come onto the Nerazzurri’s radar is Dutch international Gravenberch.

The 21-year-old made the switch to Bayern from Ajax last summer. He has not had the most auspicious of debut seasons, with playing time hard to come by with the German champions.

Whilst Gravenberch made 24 appearances last season, many of these came from the bench.

Moreover, the player has made clear that his priority for next season is more playing time. And Bayern themselves would want the Dutchman to have the opportunity to grow with more consistent minutes.

Therefore, Inter have sounded out the possibility of loaning in Gravenberch for the upcoming season.
