Arsenal & USMNT star has green-lit a move to Inter Milan, who must now agree a fee with the Gunners.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported in a tweet that the Nerazzurri are aiming to drop the fee for the 22-year-old striker to below €40 million.

Everything is now over between Inter and Lukaku.

After weeks of trying to get a deal done with Chelsea for the Belgian, the Nerazzurri have pulled the plug. The fact that Lukaku decided to negotiate with Juventus has meant that Inter will completely reject the possibility of bringing him back.

This means that the Nerazzurri now must consider alternatives to the 30-year-old.

The Nerazzurri are moving quickly to secure a different target. According to Italian journalist Barzaghi, they have already secured an agreement with Arsenal starlet Balogun.

Now, Inter’s task will be to agree a deal with Arsenal.

Folarin Balogun Says Yes To Inter Milan – Now Nerazzurri Must Convince Arsenal

Balogun is a player who Inter see as having both the ability to make an immediate impact, and potential to grow in quality over subsequent seasons.

Balogun will not come cheap after an outstanding season on loan with Reims. Arsenal will hold out for a significant fee to sell their young talent.

However, with Inter pulling the plug on a big money deal to sign Lukaku, they’ll have the funds available.

Arsenal reportedly want around €40 million if they’re to sell Balogun this summer.

This is around what the Nerazzurri had reportedly agree to pay Chelsea to sign Lukaku. Therefore, it is not as though they are far away from being able to meet the Gunners’ asking price.

According to Barzaghi, however, Inter do still want to go a little lower.

He reports that the Nerazzurri will try and pay less than €40 million in talks with Arsenal.

Barzaghi now expects that Inter will hold talks with the Gunners shortly. They will try and wrap up a deal for Balogun soon.
